As part of your onboarding with Switchee, we invite you to complete our comprehensive installer training, giving you and your teams the advice and knowledge you need. Quality is paramount to the work we do, and we want to ensure your teams are equipped with everything they need to be Switchee champions and ultimately deliver the high standards which our customers - both housing providers and residents - expect.
To support our customers, their device installation team, and their wider internal teams, we offer several remote training sessions which are divided into mandatory, suggested and optional training.
Mandatory training
Installer accreditation
An installer focused session covering the installation, registration and resident demonstration. To ensure that your installations are carried out correctly and to a high standard, it is a requirement that any person installing on your behalf attends this session. Access to our installer portal will not be granted until this training has been completed.
- Run time - approximately 1 hour.
- Minimum qualification required - Part 3 electrician
- Recommended for installers & installation supervisors / managers.
- Upon completion ‘Certificate/ CPD of attendance’ & access to installer portal.

Suggested training
Customer service training
Our customer service training session is designed to support your teams in dealing with resident queries. It will give insight into the device, its functionality, some basic troubleshooting, and what to do in the unlikely event your team encounters a problem they can’t resolve.
- Run time - approximately 1 hour.
- Recommended for customer service, call centres, repair enquiry teams.
